Lithgow City Council has an exciting opportunity for an Unlicenced Plumber to join their team in Lithgow, NSW.
Reporting to the Reticulation Supervisor, an unlicenced plumber is responsible for the operation and maintenance in construction of Council's Water and Wastewater Systems. Also, maintenance of plumbing and drainage within Council's buildings.
Specific duties include; Installing and maintaining water mains and services, maintain and operate equipment, maintain/install plumbing Council Buildings/Facilities, monitor wastewater Systems, maintain wastewater pump station, maintain water pump stations, maintain wastewater mains and services and maintain water mains and services.
This position also requires the occupant to be on call subject to roster details.
Your excellent interpersonal and well developed communication will also be vital to your success in this role, as they allow consultative communication practices with both colleagues and the community as a whole, while representing the corporate values and ethics of the Council. Additionally, you'll need to display initiative and be self-motivated, allowing you to work both independently and as part of a team.
This role requires that the successful applicant hold a current C Class Drivers Licence.
